Lake Metroparks, Neighbor

John Venen is a public relations and marketing specialist for Lake Metroparks.  His duties include website, promotions and advertising. John cultivates relationships with many members of the media in print, radio, television, and online through creative promotions and enjoys the rewards of these relationships, both professionally and personally.

Since 1993, John continues to reinforce and enhance Lake Metroparks’ genuine commitment to the community, which is reflected in the balanced offering of programs shaped to fulfill the agency’s mission:

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio Northern University, where he majored in both Marketing and Computer Science.

John has been involved with Lake Communicators for many years and served as President of the Lake Communicators Board of Directors last year.  Also a member of the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce and the Western Lake County Chambers of Commerce
