It is time citizens realize they have been duped by their state wildlife agencies and the professionals they pay to tell the general public there are too many deer, while in Ohio there are HUNDREDS of farms that breed whitetail deer for game farms. They are bred for large antlers and sold for thousands of dollars to be shot behind fence for their antlers. Google this yourself. Put in Ohio, Iowa, or other big hunting states and then add "deer farms." While they are telling the public there are too many deer, they are allowing breeding of thousands of deer in each state. The state agencies exist by license sales for hunting wildlife - their only interest in conservation is to "save" them to "kill" them. State agencies constantly "manage" herds to "hunter satisfaction" - go ahead, ask your own state agency for their records, or even go on their websites. Meanwhile, the general public is told they must kill the deer. Yes, there are car accidents. Teenagers cause accidents. Old people cause accidents, texting causes accidents. Car/deer collisions increase during hunting season - especially the first days as the animals are terrorized and run across roads. Want to blame someone? Go after your state wildlife management agency. Read up on the facts.

How refreshing to read such a heartwarming story - and a story about wildlife that did NOT include a smiling human, holding a weapon with one hand, and holding up the head of a dead animal with the other hand. How refreshing to see a live animal not being threatened by a human. And, better still, - a human not hysterical over the sight of wildlife. Apparently, evolution does exist - humans can coexist with wildlife without the neanderthal urge to murder.
