Except Kacey is right. While some may agree with what you're TRYING to say (like I do), most can't get past the fact that you write like Dexter Manley on codine, and we will write you off as an ignorant and uneducated boob as a result. Try English in your next comment. Trust me, it's for your own good.

Are you serious? You can't be serious. This comment is so insane, I question whether to even respond as you surely must be a troll. In fact, lets just leave it at that. Insane on all levels.

Let's not go into hysterics. I think it's a pretty big jump from an anonymous scribble on a bathroom stall to murderer roaming the halls, don't you? While Ellen was a bit wordy, I'd suggest taking her advice. You're not going to keep every undesirable away from your kids. You're freaking out over one kid that got caught doing something stupid, yet you know NOTHING about the other 500 kids in the school. Or did you do background checks on everyone in the school system? And everyone on your girl's softball team? And everyone on the block where you live? And...... Get the point?

They're the police. They're not interested in your opposing viewpoint, and nor should they be. Cops don't make the laws, they're just doing their job enforcing them, so maybe cut them some slack when they block comments encouraging an attitude that makes their job dangerous/tougher. An appropriate forum for your "opposing viewpoint" would be your congressman's mailbox.

On the article City Council Approves Ordinances Outlawing The Feeding Of Deer, Interfering With Legal Hunters

ReplyI have to say, while I'm definitely in favor of the deer hunting, culling, and definitely believe there is a deer population problem in Mentor, I think it's pretty ridiculous to think that a ordinance against feeding them is going to do one bit of good....but maybe you have to have it on the books as a formality. Councilman Shiner is absolutely right. Unless you have a plate of food out with a sign that says "Deer Food Only" next to it, how in the heck could you possibly enforce this ordnance? Hell, they chowed down on my rhododendrons last summer. Am I going to get a citation this summer when they do the same thing?

Exactly what is the city manager not getting to? Be specific, because based on your repeated (content-less) comments over the last couple weeks, you're clearly infatuated with the guy. If you're so interested in his performance, walk out of the hockey rink sometime and make a public records request for his annual performance review. Until then, enough already. We got it. You don't like Ken. Move on.
BTW: if you had a clue about how our city government worked, you'd realize that the city manager works at the pleasure of Council, meaning that he's doing the bidding of council, not just coming up with some personal agenda. If you truly have a problem with what the city manager is spending his time on, it's Council you should be talking about.

Wow. That would be a dream come true. Supposedly there are federal culling programs for geese too, though I've never heard of such a thing around here and I suspect that's only around airports. I wonder if canada goose is good eating?

Hey, you're getting your heron-riddled scumbag-infested Mentor hotels confused. It's Super 8 and Studio 6. Get it together for crying out loud. :-) Or were you thinking of the drug-and-prostitute-laden Motel 6 in Willoughby? You know, I'm seeing a pattern here. I think if your hotel has a number in the name, we need to just park a cop right out front and conduct mandatory searches on anyone who pulls in.
