Besides your backyard, tell us what restaurant has the best dining outdoors.
The weather is shaping up for outdoor dining with family and friends. Eating outdoors is a great way to welcome in summer while enjoying a good meal and relaxing. We’ve got to take advantage while we can — in Northeast Ohio, there only seems to be a few months to enjoy an outdoor patio. This week's Readers' Choice focuses on the Best Outdoor Patio. Beginning today — Sunday, May 13 — and through 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, we'll be asking for your recommendations for places to go with outdoor patios. Give us your recommendation in the comments section below. With your help, we'll put together a list of nominees. Then look for our poll on Thursday, May 17 and vote! The grill garnered more than twice as many votes as any other nominee
It turns out most of our voters are taking their moms to Beach Club Grill for brunch on Mother's Day. The grill garnered more than twice as many votes as any other nominee. Of course, that doesn't mean the other nominees don't have their fans. But nobody was topping Beach Club Grill this week. The other nominees were: Thank you to everyone who nominated a restaurant or voted for their favorite. Manhattan Deli led a tough field
We asked you to pick your favorite breakfast in Mentor and you selected Manhattan Deli. Unlike the favorite family restaurant vote, which featured a pair of front runners, no eatery ran away with this poll. Manhattan Deli won with 37 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, Yours Truly only trailed by 24 votes. In fact, the first and last place vote getters were only separated by 41 votes. The other nominees were: Next week, we'll be asking everyone who their favorite tax preparer is. (Oh, yes, we are in the heart of tax time.)

The nominations are in; now it's time to vote
We want to thank everyone who nominated a restaurant in our ongoing quest to find the best breakfast in Mentor. The nominees are: People can vote on our poll until 5 p.m. Friday and the winner will be announced Saturday.
