Video: Everything You've Always Wanted to Do But Your Mother Said No

Mentor Parks & Recreation's annual celebration of messiness gets a makeover with a family edition

Every year Mentor Parks & Recreation held its Everything You've Always To Do But Your Mother Said No program. And, for one gloriously messy afternoon, mothers across Mentor could not stop their children from sliding across pudding-covered slip-'n-slides, filling water balloons with Kool-Aid or smashing raw eggs on their heads. However, now the program has become so popular that even moms want to do the stuff they normally wouldn't allow. About a dozen families gathered for the first ever Family Edition of the event Thursday evening at Civic Center Park. By the time it was finished, kids, parents and grandparents were covered in eggs, pudding, syrup, mustard, oatmeal and more.
