Blake is a special cat with some special needs
Lake Humane Society has a very special kitten who is in need of a forever home. Blake is a 4-year-old male who has been living at Lake Humane Society for several months. He is very friendly, outgoing, loving and talkative. Blake loves people, but must be the only cat in the household due to the fact that he tested positive for FIV. Blake would make the perfect companion and he would love to find a loving home before the holidays. As part of the shelter's current adoption special, Blake can be adopted for just $10. Like all Lake Humane Society cats, Blake is fixed, microchipped and up to date on his shots. Lake Humane Society is located at 7564 Tyler Blvd. in Mentor. Hercules may be little but he's got a big heart. He's also available for adoption at the Lake Humane Society shelter. He is a 3-year-old Fox Terrier who was abandoned at the shelter's door back in October. Since then, he has been waiting for a loving family to come along. Hercules is sweet, loving and and the photos do not do justice to his cuteness. Like all dogs at Lake Humane Society, Hercules is fixed, microchipped and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. It would only cost $90 to adopt him, plus $15.75 for his dog license. For more information, visit Lake Humane's website at lakehumane.org

Take advantage of Adopt A Senior Pet Month at Lake Humane Society
Companion animals never run out of affection. It doesn't matter how old they get; they still have plenty of love to give. Case in point: Fluff and Tigger. These two cats are 10 years old and have grown up together. Recently, their previous owner became too ill to take care of them, so they were taken to the Lake Humane Society shelter to find a new home. Both of these boys have a lot of life and love left in them, so we're hoping to find them a new forever home. Like all Lake Humane Society cats, Fluff and Tigger are fixed, microchipped and up to date on his shots. They can also be adopted for a reduced rate because November is Adopt A Senior Pet Month at Lake Humane Society. For more on Fluff, Tigger and the many other cats available at …

Roscoe's only shy at first; once you get to know him, he's a sweetheart
Roscoe is a little reticent, at first. It takes the beagle-whippet mix awhile to get used to a person. However, once he does, he'll love you forever. Roscoe is eight years old and he's been staying at Lake Humane Society since July; but he's looking for a forever home. Like all the other animals at Lake Humane Society, Roscoe is neutered and up to date on his shots. It would only cost $90 to adopt him, plus $15.75 for her dog license. Roscoe would probably be best matched in a home without other pets. He's a peace-and-quiet kind of canine. If you think your home would be good for Roscoe, call Lake Humane Society at 440-951-6122.

He's the affectionate type and gets along with other cats well but doesn't like dogs. Like all Lake Humane Society cats, Sanji is fixed, microchipped and up to date on his shots.
