The former Globetrotters played the Lake County All-Stars and the game raised funds for the Society for Rehabilitation and the United Way of Lake County
The Harlem Legends played against the Lake County All-Stars Saturday night to raise money for the Society of Rehabilitation and the United Way of Lake County. The All Stars included Mentor High Boys Basketball Coach Bob Krizancic, Principal William Wade, Mentor Municipal Court Judge John Trebets, local businessman Marty LaMalfa and more; and they were coached by Mentor Schools Superintendent Matt Miller. The All-Stars may have got the worst of it, but that does not lessen the fun the crowd had or the good the event did. The proceeds from ticket sales went to the Society for Rehabilitation, a nonprofit charity that offers physical, occupational and speech therapy to the physically disabled. The All Stars will include Mentor High Boys Basketball Coach Bob Krizancic, Principal William Wade, Mentor Municipal Court Judge John Trebets, News-Herald Publisher Jeff Sudbrook and more.
