We asked you to nominate your favorite patios for outdoor dining. Now it's time to vote for a favorite. The grill garnered more than twice as many votes as any other nominee
It turns out most of our voters are taking their moms to Beach Club Grill for brunch on Mother's Day. The grill garnered more than twice as many votes as any other nominee. Of course, that doesn't mean the other nominees don't have their fans. But nobody was topping Beach Club Grill this week. The other nominees were: Thank you to everyone who nominated a restaurant or voted for their favorite. Where are you taking your mama this Mother's Day?
The Mother's Day brunch -- an honored tradition, in part because the ungrateful children of the world are too cheap to spring for dinner. I kid, I kid. A lot of families like to kick Mother's Day off right with a tasty brunch. So, the question is, where are you taking mom (or grandmom) this year? Fracci garnered almost half of the entire vote
The voters have picked Fracci as their favorite florist in Mentor. Fracci topped three competitors to accrue almost half of the entire vote in this week's Readers' Choice poll. Of course, that doesn't mean that other florist don't have their fans. The other nominees were: Thank you to everyone who nominated a florist and voted in our poll. Before Mentor called itself the City of Choice, it was the Rose City. Now Mentor may not still have the many nurseries that gave it that title, but there are still plenty of great florists in the city. We asked you to nominate your favorites. Second Sole sprinted ahead of the competition
Second Sole is clearly first in your hearts. The running store ran away with this Readers' Choice poll, which asked what your favorite sporting goods store in Mentor is. Second Sole received three times as many votes as the second-place store, Dick's Sporting Goods. (To be fair, I should mention that Gander Mountain only trailed Dick's by a single vote.) This vote wasn't even close
We asked you to vote for your favorite milkshake in Mentor and one ice cream shoppe ran away with it. East Coast Custard topped the four other nominees and received almost two-thirds of the total vote. That's not the say the other nominees don't have their votes. No doubt -- they sling some tasty shakes, as well. But this week belonged to the custard kings. Bennett's won by a slim margin.
