The congressman draws a conclusion from the public's rejection of both Senate Bill 5 and the Affordable Care Act
At face value, both Senate Bill 5 (which restricted unions' collective bargaining abilities) and the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obama care) have little in common. They would also seem to have diametrically opposed political supporters and detractors. However, the voters of Ohio rejected both by a sizable margin. Consequently, Congressman Steven LaTourette drew a conclusion from the Ohio electorate's actions while talking with members of the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday morning at Molinari's as part of the Chamber's Coffee & Conversation series. Congressman Steven C. LaTourette (R-Bainbridge Township) talked with members of the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday morning at Molinari's as part of the Chamber's Coffee & Conversation series. LaTourette discussed some topics that were on his mind -- primarily the need to fix the national budget -- as well as answered questions from members of the Chamber.
