Mentor Chamber Announces Launch of VetsNet Program
More than 30 local businesses and organizations will offer discounts to veterans and those serving in the United States armed forces
The Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce has launched the Mentor VetsNet program, in which more than 30 local businesses and organizations will offer discounts to veterans, reserve and active duty service members. "Mentor VetsNet provides tangible recognition and gratitude for the service given by the men and women of our armed forces past and present – it is a way to honor and support those who have given their all to guarantee our freedom," said Kevin Malecek, the chamber's president and CEO. Malecek added that area businesses offered overwhelming support and enthusiasm for the new initiative.
