A Mentor woman who admitted to assaulting her estranged husband was sentenced to six months in jail Monday morning in Mentor Municipal Court. However, Jennifer Krejci, 47, will not have serve her jail sentence until January. In the meantime, Judge John Trebets ordered her to undergo drug treatment and aftercare. Trebets also fined her $500 and ordered her to stay away from drugs and alcohol. Krejci pleaded guilty to assault and drug possession in July. Shortly before midnight on June 29, Krejci got a call from a family member who told her that her estranged husband was riding toward the 306 Lounge with another woman on the back of his motorcycle, Mentor Police Lt. A Mentor woman who is accused of hitting her estranged husband with her car pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of assault in Mentor Municipal Court. Jennifer Krejci, 47, was originally charged with felony counts of assault and drug possession. The drug possession charge stems from the police finding bath salts on Krejci when they arrested her, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said at the time of her arrest. However, she was permitted to plead guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges of assault and drug possession on July 10, according to online court records. Judge John Trebets chose not to sentence her immediately when she pleaded guilty. Instead, he asked for a presentence report. Krejci is scheduled to be sentenced August 27. Krejci …

The woman attacked her husband after hearing he was out with another woman, according to Mentor Police
A Mentor woman is accused of hitting her estranged husband with her car after hearing that he was out with another woman, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said. Shortly before midnight on Friday, Jennifer Krejci got a call from a family member who told her that William Krejci was riding toward the 306 Lounge with another woman on the back of his motorcycle, Zbiegien said. Jennifer Krejci, 47, got in her Ford Mustang and drove until she spotted William Krejci sitting on his motorcycle in the bar's parking lot. A witness told police that Jennifer Krejci drove over the sidewalk, narrowly missed hitting another car and crashed into the side of William Krejci's bike, Zbiegien said.
