Dominic Alesci -- who is already accused of breaking into a Mentor home on Wednesday -- now faces new charges on a different case. Also on Wednesday, Alesci is accused of breaking into a car in the 8400 block of Mentor Avenue and stealing a credit card, check and phone, Mentor Police Lt. Tim Allen said. Then Alesci took the credit card to a nearby Drugmart and tried to withdraw money but was refused, Allen said. Finally, Alesci tore up the check and hid the credit card and phone. After Alesci was arrested Wednesday on an unrelated charge, he took police to where he hid the credit card and phone and they were recovered. Alesci was charged with three counts of theft and one count of misuse of a credit card. Alesci already faces burglary and …
