Duo Accused Of Trafficking Heroin In Mentor

Mentor Police said Miguel Dejesus and Ciera Marcano agreed to sell drugs to undercover detectives

Mentor Police arrested two people during an undercover buy bust Tuesday. Miguel Dejesus and Ciera Marcano had offered to sell drugs to undercover detectives, Mentor Police Sgt. Richard Slovenkay said. Dejesus, 21, of Cleveland Heights, and Marcano, 19, of Cleveland, are charged with heroin trafficking and possession of criminal tools. Specifically, in this case, the "tools" refer to a pair of cell phones that police confiscated, according to court records. Marcano was also charged with driving under suspension. Both Dejesus and Marcano were arraigned Wednesday in Mentor Municipal Court. Judge John Trebets set their bonds at $30,000, which neither of them posted. Their next court hearing is scheduled for Dec. 27.
