Man Accused Of Selling Cocaine, Heroin & Handguns In Mentor
Bryan Shepherd is also accused of assaulting a police officer
A Richmond Heights man is accused of selling cocaine, heroin and handguns in the city of Mentor. Police observed Bryan Shepherd, 19, selling drugs or handguns in Mentor on multiple occasions between Jan. 28 and Feb. 7, Mentor Police Lt. Tim Allen said. Additionally, when Mentor officers went to arrest Shepherd Thursday night, he tried to flee, Allen said. While attempting to drive away, Shepherd crashed into a police car and gave an officer minor injuries, Allen said. Shepherd was charged with three counts of heroin trafficking, two counts of selling cocaine, two counts of having a weapon under a disability and one count each of failing to comply with police, possession of criminal tools and assaulting an officer.
