City Of Mentor Holding Special Bridal Gala

Any brides- and grooms-to-be who are looking for ideas for their big day can consult with the experts Sunday in Mentor. That is when the city of Mentor will host its 23rd Annual Fall Bridal Gala at noon at the Comfort Inn Hotel. More than 30 exhibitors will be assembled to give brides all the news on what is new in bridal fashion, travel and wedding planning. Ladies & Gentlemen Salon & Day Spa will be demonstrating the newest hair and makeup styles for brides between 1 and 2 p.m. on the gala's center stage. Expressions Bridal & Formal Wear and Jesse Webb Entertainment will present a fashion show that begins at 3 p.m. in the hotel's main hall. It will feature fashions not just for brides and grooms, but also their attendants, flower girls …

1. CITY OF MENTOR BRIDAL GALA Where/When: Comfort Inn & Suites, noon to 4 p.m., Sunday Why Go: This event features more than 30 exhibitors, all with ideas in planning your wedding. See new hair and makeup styles by Ladies & Gentlemen Salon & Day Spa at 2:30pm. There will be light refreshments from Cappelli’s. Sit in at 3:00 for a fashion show. Future brides can also enter to win door prizes. Pricing: $2 2. THE GREAT PUMPKIN HUNT Where/When: Wildwood Cultural Center, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday Why Go: Children can enjoy a fall craft and story time while snacking on punch and cookies.
