Gia, I commend all of you that were there! I wish I could have participated:) From what I have seen of the amazing individuals involved in animal rights and activism in the area is that they act with integrity and respect. It is unfortunate that the shoppers could not reciprocate with common courtesy. With that being said I know that we will not let the voice of the innocent and helpless be lost …   more ›

Poll: Should Stores Be Open on Thanksgiving?

Target employee starts petition effort on Change.org.

More than 187,000 have signed a petition started by a Nebraska Target employee on Change.org to "save Thanksgiving" by having Black Friday sales start at 5 a.m. rather than at midnight. Anthony Hardwick said a midnight opening robs employees of time off with their families on Thanksgiving. That started 26 other campaigns on Change.org to get Kohl's, Best Buy, Macy's and other stores to change their midnight openings, said Benjamin Joffe-Walt, director of communications for Change.org. What do you think? Take our poll – you can also explain your vote with a message in the "comments" box.
