Each week Adopt-a-Pet features a different animal from Lake Humane Society that people can adopt. While Adopt-a-Pet has focused on cats, dogs and rabbits, those are not the only companion animals available at the shelter. For example, Rico is from a litter of more than a dozen mice, all of whom are available for adoption. Rico and his siblings are all about a month old and can be adopted for $5 each. Call Lake Humane Society at 440-951-6122 if you think your home is right for Jordan or one of her many siblings.
