The Broadmoor School is the school of the Lake County Board of Developmental Disability, also known as Deepwood. TheMore school offers four different programs for children and young adults with mental handicaps and developmental disabilities.

The early intervention program is for children from birth until the age of three. It is for those who have been diagnosed or at risk of developing developmental delays. The integrated preschool, for those between three and five, pairs children with disabilities and those who are developing typically.

The school-age program, six to 21, emphasizes not just academics, but emotional and social growth, as well. The Lake Employment Experience Program (LEEP), 16 to 21, offers vocational training for work in assembly, cleaning, food preparation, horticulture and merchandising.
