The United Way is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that works all over the world to address issues directly and help rebuild the lives, homes and livelihoods of those struck with disaster. It provides leadership to partners throughout the world via philanthropic donations. Some of the United Way's current initiatives include the continual rebuilding of Indonesia after the tsunami and support throughout India. This location is the Lake County Chapter of the United Way, which always is accepting of generous donations and volunteering.
