The building at 8500 Civic Center Boulevard contains the headquarters for most of the city's departments.

On its first floor, it hosts the departments of economic and community development, engineering and building, and information technologies. It is also is directly connected to the Mentor Police Department, Municipal Court and jail.

The second floor holds the finance department, public information office, including the city's television station, and parks, recreation and public facilities.

The third floor includes the city's council chambers and offices of the council, law director, human resources, and city manager.
