$4.7 Million Project Will Upgrade All Traffic Signals in Strongsville

A citywide project will upgrade every traffic signal in Strongsville, Mayor Tom Perciak said.

Perciak said Strongsville has received a $3,437,280 grant from the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for the project.

Month of Activities Brings Disability Awareness to St. Mary Students

All month, St. Mary of the Assumption School in Mentor will raise disability awareness for its students.

A 51-year-old man was taken by Metro Life Flight to MetroHealth Systems Tuesday afternoon after he was hit by a car at the intersection of Walker and Lear roads.

John Rowan, of Avon Lake, was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was struck by a 17-year-old Avon Lake girl driving a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer at 2:29 p.m. on Oct. 9.
