For an hour each day, the staff of Lake Humane Society closes the kennel so the dogs can play outside

Instead, the shelter staff close the kennel from 3 to 4 p.m. every weekday so they can show the dogs some one-on-one affection.

They take them for a walk, brush them, feed them and play with them. The dogs also get a chance to play with each outside of the kennel.
