United Way of Lake County's Annual St. Patty's Day Celebration Is Coming

They are just two of the more than 50 celebrity servers pitching in at the eighth annual St. Patty's Day Luncheon for .

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 17 at the . And, for the first time, the event is open to the general public.

The servers will provide guests with an appropriately Irish feast of a corned beef brisket, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. Then they will entertain them with Irish jigs, serenade them and do whatever else it takes to earn tips for the United Way of Lake County.

The luncheon will also offer karaoke and raffles in which guests can win great prizes like vacations, fitness memberships, salon and spa gift certificates, golf outings and sports memorabilia.

On average, the event raises more than $30,000 for the United Way of Lake County each year.
