United Way Of Lake County To Kickoff New Campaign In August

Join the new campaign co-chairs on Aug. 23 at Mentor High School

Volunteers raised $3,671,388 for programs supported by the United Way of Lake County during the charity's .

That's great but that's also last year.

The annual campaign kicks off again at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 23 at the gym.

Campaign Co-chairs Lisa Nelson of Right Track Benefits and Dave Wiles of CT Consultants will welcome a new fundraising season with the help of Mentor High's football and basketball players, cheerleaders and marching band.

Everyone is welcome to the free event (thought donations are always welcome and will go to the United Way of Lake County.) However, people are asked to RSVP on or before Aug. 20.

All money raised during the 2012 United Way of Lake County campaign benefits programs that focus on children and families, senior citizens, health and human services and basic needs in Lake County.
