United Way of Lake County Hosts Training Sessions for Employee Campaign Managers

ECMs can learn more about how to run a successful fundraising campaign and win a pair of Cleveland Browns tickets

The is hosting a pair of free training sessions for all of its employee campaign managers during

ECMs can learn more about how to hold a successful and fun campaign at either of the two-hour sessions. They are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Salvation Army Citadel, 69 Pearl St., in Painesville.

ECMs will learn how the UWLC's staff can help them, as well as trade suggestions with their peers.

"It's really an essential element to running a successful United Way campaign," said Kent Spelman of the UWLC.

In addition to the training, attendees will also tour the Salvation Army to get a better sense of what the agencies that UWLC supports do.

Also, everyone who attends either session will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of Cleveland Browns tickets.
