Huth's "they" refers to Selman & Company, who have thrown the carnival for the last four years. Employees from Selman volunteer their time to organize and host it.

Patty McGuire, the Selman employee who thought of the carnival, said she wanted to have a volunteer event for Deepwood because she has a 20-year-old nephew with autism.

She added that the carnival gets bigger each year. Her father even got into the act this morning. His band, The Nostalgia Factor, played for the clients.

McGuire said it takes about two months to gather all the donations and plan the carnival each year.

Elfie Roman, the LCBDD Superintendent, everyone appreciates their efforts and enjoys the carnival.

"We feel privileged to have Selman & Company employees contribute their time and talents towards producing this pleasurable event,” Roman said.
