Local Unions Hold Poker Tournament for United Way of Lake County

Though hosted by local labor unions, anyone can participate in the Texas Hold 'Em tournament

Local labor unions are hosting a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament to benefit the this Saturday at Bricklayers Local 16's headquarters, 9437 Hamilton Drive in Mentor.

Somebody need not be a union member to be dealt in.

Anybody can pay $60 to enter. Players can also pay for additional buy-ins and add-ons.

The proceeds for the tournament go to the local chapter of the United Way, which, in turn, is used to support local causes that improve the quality of life in Mentor and Lake County.

Snacks will be provided at the tournament and players may bring their own adult beverages.
