Lake Erie College Manor House Hosts Royal Wedding Watch Party
The watch party doubled as a fundraiser for United Way of Lake County's Feed Lake County food drive
Ellen Foley Kessler said she wanted to celebrate "a splash of color" – a moment outside of the wars and recession talk and sadness.
To do this, Kessler, a Lake Metroparks commissioner, hosted a royal wedding watch party at the most palatial house in Mentor, the Lake Erie College Manor House.
Guests donned dresses and their finest hats despite the early hour and watched as Prince William and Kate Middleton were married.
