Fundraisers Being Held For Families Of Chardon Shooting Victims

Two fundraisers are being held; both raise money for the five families whose children were shot Feb. 27 at Chardon High School

Good samaritans are hosting a pair of events to raise money for the families of the five children who were shot .

An all-you-can-eat spaghetti and pizza dinner will be held April 30 at . Tickets cost $12 for adults and $6 for kids.

All of the proceeds will go directly to the five families, according to organizer Patty Zolcak.

The event will also have a DJ, as well as 50/50 and Chinese raffles.

Meanwhile, another fundraiser will be held March 25 at the in Chardon, 12719 Mayfield Road. It is hosted by the restaurant and the Chardon High class of 2007.

They will have a spaghetti dinner and 50/50 raffle, as well..

Local businesses are invited to create baskets or give donations that can be raffled away.

All money collected for tickets to the dinner and money collected during the raffle go straight to the nonprofit organization Chardon Healing Fund, which is run by the Geauga County United Way.
