American Red Cross Looking For Heroes

Nominations needed for the American Red Cross Hero Awards of Geauga and Lake Counties

The Red Cross are looking for good Samaritans from Lake and Geauga County to recognize during their annual heroes breakfast, and they want your recommendations.

People don't need to have saved someone's life to qualify as heroes, though it's OK if they did that too.

Last year, the Red Cross heroes included students who encouraged their local classmates to volunteer more, a gallery owner who donated art supplies for therapy classes to the Center for Dialysis Care, a woman who leads water and boat safety classes .
