Note These Road Closures During CityFest Weekend
Center Street, Munson and Hopkins roads will be closed at various times throughout the weekend.
While CityFest goes on this weekend, it will be important to note several road closures.
Mentor Police Sgt. Tim Nekic advised the following:
- During CityFest hours, 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, Munson Road will be closed from behind city hall to the intersection at Market Street.
- The same stretch will also be closed from about 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday during the CityFest Run & Walk and the Classic Car Cruise-In.
- Hopkins Road, in front of Shore Middle School, will be closed through Center Street, to Fairfax Drive during the CityFest Parade on Saturday morning. The closure will last from 9:30 a.m. to about noon.
- During the parade closure, northbound Center Street traffic will be directed from Fairfax Drive to Munson, via Cambridge Park Drive.
- Drivers will not be able to access Hopkins Road and Center Street, from in front of Shore to Mentor High School.
