Library, Gander Mountain Team For Seminar Series On Outdoors

Hunters, fishers and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy this new series from Mentor Public Library and Gander Mountain

and have teamed to put on a new summer seminar series for hunting and fishing enthusiasts.

The seminar series will begin Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. All seminars will be in the .

The first seminar in the series will present tips on Lake Erie fishing and lure selection, as well as approaches to walleye fishing and trolling techniques.

All of the seminars are free to attend but registration is required for each.

Gander Mountain at the Library Seminar: Lake Erie-Walleye Fishing

Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Mentor Gander Mountain staff will present a seminar on Lake Erie fishing and lure selection. Tips on fishing for walleye and trolling techniques will also be presented. Registration has already begun.

Gander Mountain at the Library Seminar: Fly/Bow Fishing

Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Mentor Gander Mountain staff will present a seminar on fly fishing/bow fishing. Presentation will feature how to fly fish, tie a lure, archery how-tos and equipment suggestions. Registration begins July 5.

Gander Mountain at the Library Seminar: Urban Deer Hunting

Thursday, Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Mentor Gander Mountain staff will present a seminar featuring archery setups and tips on urban deer hunting. Registration begins Aug. 2.
