Youth Cards Prepare to Participate in Midwest National Tournament

Mentor Youth Cardinal football teams are preparing for Midwest National Football Tournament. Come on out and support our future Mentor High Cardinal players!

While our MHS Cardinals are doing us proud on the road to a State Championship, the Youth Cardinals have been preparing for a Thanksgiving weekend tournament. Midwest Nationals is a youth football tournament held annually in Cleveland.  This year's tournament hosts teams from New York, Maryland, Ontario Canada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and of course Ohio. The tournament is divided into divisions by age starting with 7U all the way up to 14U. Click here for the tournament schedule.  The website also has information about the tournament locations, as well as photos and past champions.

The Mentor 9U-105lb Team plays on Friday at 10:30 am and the 11U Unlimited Team plays at 12:00 noon on Friday.  Both games are at Perry High School.  These kids have really put their hearts into preparing for this, lets show them our support! They are our future MHS Cardinals!
