Mentor's Trubisky Earns All-State Offensive Honors
Quarterback leads a Cardinals group of seven players on team
junior quarterback was named co-Division I offensive player of the year and headlined a group of seven Cardinals who made the 2011 Associated Press Division I All-Ohio high school football team.
Trubisky, who threw for 3,845 yards and 41 touchdowns and rushed for 611 yards and 12 TDs, shared the honor with Wadsworth running back Jack Snowball.
Senior receiver made the first team offense with 66 receptions for 1,037 yards and eight TDs, while defensive lineman and linebacker , both seniors, earned first team honors.

Senior punter made third team defense, while seniors Nick Kirschner and Anthony Lautanen received special mention.
The Cardinals had previously placed 12 players on the Division I 2011 AP Northeast Lakes All-District football team.
