Video: Hopkins Elementary Raises Money to Help Cancer Research

The school raised more than $1,000 for the American Cancer Society during Relay for Life

raised more than $1,000 for the American Cancer Society during its Relay for Life event this afternoon.

The students have spent the last two weeks gathering donations. They also gave their own money so they could put pictures on the walls of the school, remembering loved ones who have had cancer.

However, the Hopkins Relay is only a precursor for the Relay for Life event, which starts 3 p.m. this Saturday at .
