Students Sell Shirts In Memory Of Teacher To Raise Money For Multiple Sclerosis Society

The T-shirts in memory of Ann Anderson are being sold at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, St. Mary of the Assumption School and Lake Catholic High School

Several students from the area are still mourning the loss of Ann Anderson, who taught second grade for 15 years at St. Mary of the Assumption School in Mentor.

But, instead of just missing her, her memory has motivated them to do good.

Students from St. Mary, Lake Catholic and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin are selling T-shirts that say, "We Remember Ann Anderson."

The shirts cost $10 each and are available at any of the aforementioned schools.

The proceeds will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The money will be donated when the Lake Catholic and NDCL boys basketball teams play each other 7 p.m. Friday at Lake Catholic.

Anderson, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 5.

Contributions may also be made in memory of Ann M. Anderson and in honor of Mary Hassing to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Northeast Ohio Chapter 6155 Rockside Rd., Suite 202 Independence, Ohio 44131.
