Second Annual PROMise Remembers Brandon Shima

The fashion show raises money for the Brandon Shima Anti-Bullying Foundation,

Brandon Shima is never forgotten.

His friends and teammates on the football team . Before that, his father Keith Shima started the Brandon Shima Foundation Against Bullying in his honor.

Now, local businesses are sponsoring the second annual prom fashion show, , to raise money for his foundation.

The show will be from 7 to 9 p.m. this Thursday at .

Marcy Hudson, the owner of , helped organize the event. Other local businesses, including Jenniffer and Co. SalonAmerican Commodore Tuxedos and Sun Rental, sponsored and helped plan the fashion show.

Shima's friends and classmates have volunteered as models and will show off the season's tuxedos and prom dresses.

The American Commodore Tuxedo dancers will also perform.

It costs $10 to get into the show but people only need to pay $5 if they wear a Brandon Shima "Stay Connected" T-shirt. All of the show's proceeds go to the Brandon Shima Anti-Bullying Foundation.

Brandon Shima, 16, died in November 2010 after suffering from a reoccurring MRSA infection.
