Photos: Mentor Hosts Science Olympiad Invitational

About 1,200 students from multiple states competed in events Saturday

More than 84 teams of high school students from four states visited Mentor High School's Science Olympiad Invitational on Saturday to compete in a day's worth of events.

For the 35 MHS students and about 100 from Memorial, Ridge and Shore middle schools, Saturday provided the preparation they'll need before the regional competition next weekend at Case Western Reserve University.

Students also heard from a guest speaker, Dr. Bob Graf, who heads science and technology at Lubrizol Corp.
