The undefeated Broadmoor basketball team played against coaches from area high schools in a charity game

The Bobcats bested a team comprised of coaches from area high schools Monday night at .

The Bobcats maintained their 11-year undefeated streak by beating the coaches for the fourth consecutive year.

The coaches team was coached by News-Herald staff writer Bill Tilton and included Cardinals boys basketball coach Bob Krizancic and boys basketball coach Mark Chicone.

However, the game was about so much more than wins and losses.

It also doubled as a fundraiser. Most of the money raised was split between Broadmoor and .

Additionally, before the game, Thomas DeCarlo shaved his head to raise money for his 8-year-old cousin Erin Potter's leukemia treatment. This is the third time Erin's cancer has recurred.

Several schools from Lake County participated in the festivities. Cheerleaders from about 10 schools performed together at halftime, as did the Mentor High majorettes, the Mentor High dance team, the Wickliffe High School drum corp and a 9-year-old Bellflower student named Lexi Garrison.
