He's encouraging students, staff and parents of Mentor High School to take an online survey that asks them their opinions about the school.

The survey asks questions such as, "What are the top challenges the school faces?" and "What are you proudest about at the school?"

Wade also asks the community for any advice they may have for him in his new role.

In the survey, Wade refers to the school's parents, teachers and students as its "stakeholders."

"I believe in order to continue the excellence and to maintain Cardinal Pride we must work collaboratively together," Wade wrote in the survey's introduction. "The information I receive from this brief survey will allow everyone to have a voice to help ensure a foundation of scholastic, personal and career successes for all students is achieved."
