February was a good month for eight art students from Mentor.
Lakeland Community College featured their work in the annual Lake and Geauga County Junior and Senior High School Art Exhibit from Jan. 31 to Feb. 27. At the close of the exhibit, the students won varying grants and awards at the artists' reception and awards ceremony.
According to the Mentor Schools website, their work was among 400 selections for this year's gallery. Here are the students and the awards they won:
$500 Talent Grant
