Mentor Schools Board of Education Meeting Tonight

The school district will present reports on cost-saving initiatives, transportation efficiency and cyber-bullying information night

The Mentor Board of Education will have its monthly meeting 7 p.m. tonight in the district's .

The district is scheduled to give a report on its cost-savings initiatives and Diana Zarlenga, the director of business operations for Mentor Schools, will talk about transportation efficiency.

Principal Joseph Spiccia and William Porter, the director of kindergarten through eighth grade education, will also tell parents about the cyber-bullying program scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 24 in the auditorium.

Parents who attend Cyberbullying, Sexting, Texting and More: Confronting Issues in an Electronic Age will hear Mentor Schools administrators and representatives from the Mentor Police Department discuss new challenges that stem from the misuse of computers and cell phones.
