However, they already qualified to compete at the Ohio Athletic Conference championship this year and finished third place.
Moreover, they closed their season with a first-place finish at the CCC national championship. That was the fourth time this season they had won first place in a competition.

Here's a list of how the cheerleaders fared at each of their competitions this season:
- Fifth place – Northeast Ohio Conference
- First place – CCC Regional
- Firstplace – Chardon High School
- First place – Americheer Ohio Championship
- Eighth place – Ohio State University
- Third place – OAC State Championship
- Seventh place – OASSA State Championship
- First place – CCC National Championship
