Lake Catholic Students Beat Teachers in Goodwill Games

Lake Catholic seniors couldn't be stopped Friday.

A group of athletes who will graduate this year teamed up to take on various Lake Catholic teachers in the Winter Sports Recognition Rally and Goodwill Games, and the results weren't even close.

The students beat the teachers in all events — volleyball, dodgeball and tug of war. They even gave their instructors a second chance at tug of war, but still came out victorious in that match.

That didn't stop the teachers from engaging the students in some good-natured ribbing. For instance, video conferencing coordinator Jeff Ellis uttered, "What's up now?!" after several spikes in the teachers' 22-14 volleyball defeat.
