Lake Catholic Hosts Cougarpalooza Tonight

Cougars and Lake Catholic alums can enjoy the annual concert after the homecoming game Friday against Benedictine

Almost every high school homecoming weekend includes a football game and a dance. But how many have a rock concert?

Lake Catholic students and parents -- both current and alums -- are invited to the third annual Cougarpalooza. It will begin 9 p.m. Friday at the school after the homecoming game against Notre Dame Cathedral Latin.

Five bands, all with Lake Catholic alumni, will perform. They are:

  • The Butler Family (alumni: Eric '05, Sammi '09)
  • Myth & Co. (Eric Butler '05)
  • Gypsy Relic (Dann Jasko '94)
  • Shades of Distortion (Brian Suponcic '97, Jim Ustar '77)
  • KMOB Trio (John Stebal '80)

Rock bands will play on the main stage in the gym. Those who prefer something a bit quieter can listen to acoustic acts in the atrium.

There will be Cougarpalooza T-shirts for sale and giveaways throughout the night.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students or children who are 8 and older and free for any child younger than that.
