Great Lakes Mall Hosting an Art Show for Mentor Schools Elementary Students

The art show begins with a reception tonight and continues through Thursday

will, once again, double as a gallery for more than 500 pieces of art created by elementary students from the Mentor Schools district.

The Mentor Elementary Art Show is a three-day celebration, showcasing the best student drawings, paintings, collages, prints, sculptures and even photos from all 10 of the district's elementary schools.

The show begins today with an opening night reception at 6 p.m. and continues through Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the main concourse across from .

Last year, , said Renee Lanzara, the mall's marketing director.

"It is our pleasure to host the elementary art show again this year," Lanzara said. "It’s a great opportunity for us to showcase the work of talented local students and support art education in our schools."
