Understanding Why College Students Have As Much As A 70% Chance Of Failure!

Higher Education Consumers Resource is Northeast Ohio’s nonprofit organization that works with and for families and students. College graduates earn over $1,000,000 more in their lifetime than non-graduates.  Yet only 24% of Americans ever successfully complete a college degree; 20% of college students have student loan debt and no diploma; 55% of college students struggle with their degree selection, and many Ohio colleges and universities fail to graduate 70% of their full-time freshman class within 6 years!   Changing these numbers is critical to students and their families and for the economic development in Northeastern Ohio; and that is our mission.
