The Battle of Hampton Roads: Major Battles of the Civil War

James A. Garfield National Historic Site staff and volunteers visit the library every month for a discussion about the Civil War. This program will cover the March 1862 battle of Hampton Roads, the naval clash between the Monitor and the Merrimac. The program is free and attendees are welcome to bring lunch and eat during the talk.
