Major Battles of the Civil War Series

James A. Garfield NHS staff and volunteers discuss major battles of the Civil War on the second Wednesday of every month. This month's topic is the battle of Winchester, Va., which took place on May 25, 1862. Winchester was an important Confederate victory during Gen. Stonewall Jackson's Shenandoah campaign. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch and eat during the program. Registration is requested.
