Lake County seniors, their adult children and caregivers are invited to these workshops to learn about a variety of subjects of local interest.
There is no charge to attend. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes in advance of the start of the session. RSVP is required.

Get the information you need about Lake County's transportation system, including Dial-A-Ride, fixed routes, veteran's services, the Smart Card and the new Rock-N-Ride to the Horseshoe Casino. Learn to become less dependent on rides from friends and relatives. Help your parents understand that Laketran can help.

A representative from the Ohio Attorney General's Office will review the latest elderly scams and senior frauds. Learn to protect yourself from investment fraud, insurance policy scams, Medicare fraud, and more. The Lake County Sherrif's Office will also be on hand to make you aware of the latest scams being attempted in our community.

Join with the Lake County Veterans Service Office and the Council on Aging as we pay tribute to our veterans. Please come to our gathering on this veteran's week, or bring your mom and dad for a special evening of caring. Learn about available assistance and programs to men and women who have honorably served their country.
